Small Business Community (SBC) Consultants, Inc., a full service firm aiding with small business certification, is proud to announce that their client and local small business, Titan Environmental Solutions, Inc., has received 8(a) certification from the United States Small Business Administration (SBA).
“We want to able to help local fellow small businesses access the additional tools like small business certifications so they can successfully compete for government contracting business,” said Paul Mazbanian, founder of SBC Consultants, Inc. “We are proud to be a part of Titan Environmental Solutions’ success by helping them tap into a more than $50 billion Federal Government market through the SBA.”
"Receiving the 8(a) certification gives our company a great opportunity to further develop our business and nurture new relationships," said Robert Menald, president and CEO of Titan Environmental Solutions, Inc. “Although we faced multiple failed attempts at trying to achieve 8(a) certification through other companies, Paul was hands-on and easy to trust as he walked us through the application. By March 25, 2014, we were certified by the SBA as an 8(a) certified firm because Paul delivers what he promises.”
The SBA 8(a) program was designed to provide business development assistance to companies owned and managed by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. In order to be certified by the SBA, an applicant firm must: be a small business; be unconditionally owned and controlled by one or more socially and economically disadvantaged individuals who are of good character; be citizens of the United States; and must demonstrate potential for success. The certification gives Titan Environmental Solutions, Inc. the opportunity to bid on contracts that are specifically set aside for SBA 8(a) program participants.
SBC Consultants, Inc has been assisting small businesses with their Federal and State Certifications including but not limited to SBA 8(a) and Women-Owned Small Business Certifications (WOSB), Metro’s Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Certifications as well as the Department of General Services (DGS) SB (Small Business) and DVBE (Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise) Certifications.
